We have been chasing Black Jack for days now and we had heard that he had broken his leg from falling off his horse so could not escape even though we are couple days behind him.

We are going to catch him for murder. Our reward for killing him is 500 pounds. The ranger was my son that he killed so I would like to hang him, that is why I have been asked by the sheriff of the town, that my son and I lived in, to catch him and take him back.

We are 2 days behind him and he has a broken leg, this is the time to try and get him. We had to stay a bit behind him in case he thought that he might have been followed. Now we are in the town where he is recovering in an old orchard where he is resting. We will stay in the saloon then we strike in the morning.

When I woke up some one told me that some one told Black Jack that he had been followed. Then we raced to the orchard and saw him just in time, going over the hill to an old mine. So we hopped on our horses and went after him with the sheriff’s dumb son. We chased him up the hill and into a mine where he would not be able to escape. We walked into the dark and creepy mine and there was a mess from all the broken wood and other things. Then the worst thing happened. There were two tunnels so we had to split up. Soon after, I caught Black Jack.

We found our way out and got the 500 pounds reward and had bought a ranch and had 250 sheep and 5 cattle. I would say you could not get a better life than this.
