There was a sheriff and a deputy that have been chasing a man called Black Jack for the last 2 weeks. Black  Jack robbed lots of  banks and there was a $1000 reward out for him. 

The sheriff and deputy chased him into a cave and down lots of tunnels and then came to a dead end. Suddenly they realised they were lost. The sheriff had told deputy to tie a rope at the cave mouth and unravel it, but the deputy forgot to tie it and the rope just dragged down behind them. Now they were lost in a cave with a bad guy.

The two men carried hurricane lanterns for light. They turned a corner in the cave and there in front of them was a huge T-Rex chewing the last little bit of Black Jack. They screamed and ran behind a rock.

“What are we going to do?’ cried the deputy, running around panicking.

“I know. We’ll throw the fuel from the lamps onto the dinosaur.”

They emptied the lamps into a bowl and threw the fuel onto the dinosaur. Then they threw a match.

Boom! The dinosaur was covered in flames. It panicked and ran straight into a wall. The wall collapsed all over it and killed it on the spot.

The two men now had to find their way out of the tunnel in pitch darkness. They saw a tiny light at the top of the tunnel and started climbing up towards it. They reached the surface after climbing for ten minutes and crawled out into the fresh air.

When they went back to town and told their story nobody believed them, but they knew it was true.
